YAPCA is hosting its annual summer workshop at the Don Wright Faculty of Music on the Western University campus. This year’s workshop will take place on July 5-7, 2024 and like the last few years promises to a lot of fun and time to make music, make friends and keep your music going all summer.
The workshop will kick-off on Friday afternoon July 5, 2024 with a meet and greet session with rehearsals and other sessions taking place on Saturday and Sunday, July 6-7, 2024. The tuition for the workshop is $300 for orchestra students and $360 for senior students in the chamber program. If you register by April 30, at $15 tuition reduction applies. And a sibling discount of 10% also applies.
We have two tracks of instruction; our senior players will work with Professor Joe Lanza, preparing chamber works. Our Young Artists Orchestra players will have tutti rehearsals, sectionals, and fun group activities led by Maestro Leigh Walter.

The Saturday and Sunday program will run from 8:45 AM to 4:00 PM.
